Do I Need a Lawyer to Get Divorced in Colorado?I encourage people who have children, a significant amount of property, a military pension plan, or a need for spousal support to hire a lawyer to protect their interests. If you don't have children, and if both parties are able to support themselves independently, you can usually accomplish a divorce without the help of a divorce lawyer. |
I invite you to make an appointment to come and talk with me in my office. If you live out of the Colorado Springs area, you can make an appointment for a telephone interview. An initial interview gives us the opportunity to get to know one another and for me to become acquainted with your situation.
I charge $225 per hour for attorney time and $75 per hour for paralegal time. I require a retainer before accepting new clients. The retainer varies from case to case, depending upon the complexity of the case. I charge $50 for the initial interview, which runs 30 to 60 minutes.
If you would like an initial interview, please call my office or use the form below:
NOTE: The use of the Internet for communications with the firm will not establish an attorney-client relationship and messages containing confidential or time-sensitive information should not be sent.
